  Dreaming of a vacation based on food and wine? Well, start here at La Dolce Vita where, in the south of France, we live to eat and love our grapes! Cooking and eating are the basis of life in the Minervois, sitting down to a meal for hours on end means preparing the meal with love, passion and flavour!

We offer cookery courses to fit your needs and fulfil your desired menus. While staying in Azille in a comfortable room, you can plan a long weekend with a few friends or weeklong cooking vacation sprinkled with intermittent wine tasting. Learn to please not only your own belly, but those of your friends and family as well.

A 3-day weekend course might look like this:

Day 1: Evening welcome wine tasting at La Dolce Vita with appetizers followed with time to relax in your room and getting settled in. The evening meal will be a simple family style sit down with local Azille Cooperative wines. Talk will range around the meal and its ingredients, as well as a short narrative on wines & tastes.

Day 2: Continental breakfast to get the day started. The various menus will discussed and ingredients list determined, shopping in Narbonne – a French fast food meal at local Kabob take out. Return to La Dolce Vita to begin the evening meal preparation. Eat, drink and be merry.

Day 3: Brunch preparation and consumption. Wine-tasting in the village at 2-3 private wineries. Preparation of appetizers and dinner salad for light evening meal, champagne & dessert.

Day 4: Breakfast with good-byes and final questions, reservation of weeklong cooking course in effect!
